What is the Phoenix Catholic Bridal Show?

The Phoenix Catholic Bridal Show is a bridal exposition of vendors, events, and inspiration, mixed with important elements of the Catholic faith, created for engaged and almost engaged couples to plan their weddings, be inspired, and navigate marriage preparation in the Diocese of Phoenix.

Who is Cana Co Arizona?

Cana Co Arizona is a Catholic Wedding Planning Company that operates inside the Diocese of Phoenix. Cana Co Arizona was founded by Manda McCleery and Shelbie Dodd as a rebranding of McCleery Weddings, which Manda founded in 2018 in Lincoln, NE. Manda created a wedding planning business after her own wedding, and a couple vendors (who are now friends) asked if she had ever considered doing professional planning. As a FOCUS and NET alumna, as well as someone who was employed by a large parish in Mesa for 8 years, Manda sees the beauty and pride of place of the Sacrament of Marriage. Cana Co Arizona’s greatest strength is helping brides not only create, find and plan their vision, but executing it to their greatest extent. The greatest complement we have ever received was, “You helped me find the vision for my wedding that I didn’t even know I had!”

The Diocesan Pastoral Center downtown and its Office of Marriage & Family Life must always prudently discern what events it can directly host and support. Cana Co Arizona has been and will continue to be in contact with the Office of Marriage and Family Life regarding this event. They are aware and grateful for this initiative to support men and women preparing for marriage.

What happens when I apply for a booth?

Cana Co Arizona will reach out to you directly to confirm that your booth application was received and next steps. If your company does not already have a booth, you will be given the opportunity to accept your booth registration by paying the booth fee. Once your payment is received, your booth will be confirmed, and the details of the event, except where exactly your booth will be, will be given at that time. **YOUR BOOTH IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOUR FEE IS PAID**. Confirmation of payment will be written and in receipt form; if you do not receive confirmation, it has not been received. Your booth assignment number, maps of all booths, and lists of all vendors will be given to you at least one week prior to the event.

What do the booths look like?

Each company will be given a 6 foot table to use, and a space of approximately 6×6 feet on concrete and grass to use. These are completely blank spaces and you may use your space however you want. The only requirement is that a table cloth must cover the venue’s provided tables. Cana Co Arizona is not responsible for providing table cloths to vendors.

Will electricity be available for my booth?

Yes, you can use electricity in your booth. You will be given one outlet, and the other outlets will be used for other vendors. You will be asked to give electricity needs during your booth application process.

Why is there a fee for vendor booths?

Cana Co Arizona is putting hours of time and effort into hosting this event as perfectly as possible for brides and vendors. As Cana Co Arizona is the sole host, the financial burden for all deposits, some nonrefundable, rentals, marketing fees, printed materials for brides at the event, etc, fall directly onto this company. Your modest booth fee makes a huge dent into those expenses. No booth fees will go toward the styled shoot. Click here to email to ask more about fees and scholarships.

How can I participate in other ways?

Please let your brides know the show exists. The most important thing is to make brides aware that the show is free to brides and couples, and that it’s not just vendors – we will have inspiration in the form of a fashion show and styled shoot ongoing during the event, as well as representatives from different methods of natural family planning and confessions available. If you want to participate in the fashion show or styled shoot, please contact Cana Co Arizona immediately to nail down details for these concurrent events.

Why are there concurrent events like a fashion show and styled shoot?

Some brides are looking for inspiration, and we wanted a creative and fun way for brides to learn style trends and be inspired to create the vision of their perfect day. Having a vendor styled shoot will not only give brides ideas, but it will also help them to see what it takes to put a wedding together, and a small taste of what it’s like to be in the camera all day. The events also give vendors a chance to work together on something they love – the industry.
